EPUSH! EXECUTIVE TEAM
A life-long entrepreneur, Sean Marra launched his first business at 16 and from there went on to consult for and launch additional start-ups, established companies and agencies – structuring and managing their marketing, sales, call centers, and corporate infrastructure. This rich and varied experience lead Marra to co-found BIGgro$$, Inc. in 1997, the first web-based automotive advertising and marketing company, which he grew to over $100 million in sales and 100 plus employees. In 2009, Marra launched ePush!, to pioneer automotive centric email marketing and data platforms. In 2014, ePush! was named to the Inc. 500 as one of America’s fastest growing companies. Today, ePush! is an international leader in behavioral data and technology.
Eric Miret embarked on his automotive career in 2000 as a business development team leader at BIGgro$$, where he and Sean Marra began their long-term working relationship. Noteworthy as to his skill in closing deals and building customer rapport, Miret lead the BIGgro$$ sales team in total billings in four of his eight years with the company. In 2009, Sean Marra contacted Miret and invited him to join ePush! as managing partner. In that role, and working with Marra and later with Russ Gentry, Miret has spearheaded ePush!’s million-dollar year-over-year growth for six straight years. At the same time, Miret and Marra co-launched a national sub-prime lead generation company in 2014, and in 12 months, grew that venture to over $2-million in recurring revenue before selling it off. In 2016, Miret took the helm as ePush!’s president.
Russ Gentry began his automotive marketing career with Autoweb in 1998 prior to its IPO. In 2001, he was recruited to Credit Acceptance and reported directly to Keith McCluskey and Don Foss in in leadership roles that helped the company take its stock from under $1 to $26.88. In 2005, Gentry founded the first of four automotive related data solutions companies: Xcelerated, DealerVault, ListCleanUp.com, and Authenticom. Those companies generated $25-million in annual sales under his leadership. In June 2015, Gentry sold his interests in the four, which had achieved total enterprise value of $52-million. Over the years, Gentry had developed a close relationship with Sean Marra and Eric Miret, and joined ePush! as Managing Partner and COO in 2016. Gentry credits his business success to the experience and leadership training he received as a career firefighter. Russ entered the fire academy at 18, and rose to Battalion Chief at retirement, after which, he joined AutoWeb.
VP of Operations
Eric Gerard has created, managed and administered automotive marketing and advertising campaigns for over three decades. Following a 10-year career as a hard news reporter for major newspapers in Ohio and Florida, Gerard signed on as senior accounts manager for a regional automotive agency on Florida’s Gulf Coast. In 1989, he launched E. Gerard Advertising, and in 1999, with partner Sean Marra, re-incorporated as BIGgro$$, which grew into the third largest privately held automotive agency in the U.S. Gerard retired from advertising in 2008 to write and travel, returning to the field in 2014 to join ePush! as its Vice President of Operations.
